Closure of Hector and Start of CadetOne
The AAFC's on-line administration system known as 'Hector' will cease operations on/from 1 Jan 09. Early in the New Year, advice will be sent out informing affected members of a new system being developed called 'CadetOne', which replaces 'Hector'.
Consequently no one will be able to access or use 'Hector' as from New Years Day. Commander AAFC said today (31Dec08) "It is time to move on to a new system which will better serve our organisation in the future. Hector has served us well since before 2005, but we need to expand our IT capability to the benefit of cadets and staff." | | 30.12.2008
IACE 2009 NOMINATIONS OPEN
Nominations are open from eligible cadets and IOC/OOCs to apply for the inbound or outbound International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) visits during July and August 2009. Nominations close 15 Feb 09. AIR FORCE TROPHY WIN TO 5WGAAFC
CDR announced today that the Air Force Trophy for 2007/8 had been awarded to 5WGAAFC. CAF, together with all CB-AF staff and HQ AAFC, extends its congratulations to 5WG for an outstanding achievement. CAF has indicated that he wishes to present the Trophy and Banner to 5WG either late Jan or early Feb09. Further details will be released in due course. | | |
