Recently 212SQN went global in support of a good cause, the SQN was part of the global initiative “The Little Yellow Duck’ this program is a global initiative highlighting the life-saving random acts of kindness of blood, bone marrow, and organ and tissue donation. Whilst every random act of kindness has the ability to brighten someone’s day, these donations have the ability to literally save or transform someone’s entire life.
The Little Yellow Duck Project involves people around the world handcrafting little yellow duck gifts as random acts of kindness that are left in public places for others to find. A special tag on each one invites the finder to take their gift home to brighten their day and to visit the ‘The Little Yellow Duck’ website (http://thelittleyellowduckproject.org/) to register where the gift now lives.
CPL J. Duck was found by a member of the Squadron recently on holidays in the Italian War Cemetery, CORIANO RIDGE WAR CEMETERY and registered the find in support of the cause on the projects world map showing the Squadron’s home Base as the new home of CPL J. Duck highlighting the SQN’s ongoing support for this great cause.
