What an awesome Father and Son moment.
Things are certainly on the way up for CCPL Jarrod Psaila from 217 SQN, Capalaba, Queensland.
After successfully completing his JNCO course in December, he was recently promoted, and to top it off, he has achieved his dream of flying solo in a glider.
All the more special as Jarrod’s Dad, Jason, piloted the Piper Pawnee Pa-25 to tow him up.
Jason is a commercial pilot with Dragon Airlines (a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific, which has it’s HQ in Hong Kong) and volunteers time as a flying instructor with 2WG’s School of Aviation.

Smiles all around, Jarrod with his Dad Jason, taken just after his first ‘solo’ glider flight.
