RSL Australia

The RSL across Australia has long been an active supporter of the AAFC Wings and Squadrons through the State Headquarters and various Sub-Branches. This support has taken many forms including scholarships, mentoring and financial.  Recently RSL Queensland provided the funds to enable the AAFC to purchase a new National Banner and in 2011 provided support to the cadets coming from overseas countries as part of the International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) when they visited the Brisbane area.  The New South Wales RSL also provided support for this group when they visited the Sydney area in 2011.  Visits to both areas included these cadets meeting the RSL State branch Executives which was one of the highlights of their visit.  The AAFC is very grateful for this support as it ensures the international cadets visit to these States is a memorable and enjoyable event and allows them to meet veterans of another nation.
