WGCDR(AAFC) Tony Lee

Wing Commander (AAFC) Anthony (Tony) Lee joined the AAFC as a cadet in 1981 at 20 Flight (QAIRTC) Kedron in Queensland. He reached the Rank of Cadet Under Officer before becoming a staff member in 1987. He has had continuous service with the AAFC since joining and has held numerous positions including Commanding Officer of 212 SQN AAFC, 2 Wing Regional Executive Officer and Staff Officer Parachute Training. In 2006 he was appointed to his current position of Director of International Public Affairs and promoted to Wing Commander (AAFC). His current portfolio encompasses group exchange activities, the IACE programme and Public Affairs & Communications.
Outside his interest in the AAFC, Tony holds a management position in sales and marketing. He is also very involved with other community organisations including the RAAF Association and he is the P&C President of his children’s school. Tony has been married for more than fifteen years and has three children.
